Steve Nussbaum

Steve Nussbaum is President of Nussbaum Long Term Care Planning & Insurance, a private insurance agency specializing in long-term care solutions for people of all ages. While licensed to sell long-term care insurance in several states, Steve concentrates his efforts in two primary states where he maintains national offices: New York State and Kentucky.  He conducts free, educational LTC seminars across New York and Kentucky to help raise people’s awareness about the need to plan for long-term care costs. 

Steve has conducted LTC seminars for nearly 20 years, dating back to his career with the NYS Partnership for Long-Term Care. An integral member of the “Partnership” during its first eight years of existence, Steve was involved in the design and implementation of the NYS Partnership program. From 1988-1996, he was one of the Partnership’s lead researchers, evaluators, report writers and seminar speakers.

As a long-term care consultant and licensed insurance agent for the past dozen years, Steve has helped thousands of New Yorkers plan to protect their financial resources from the costs of long-term care. In addition to conducting seminars, Steve works with individuals and couples, helping them tailor the appropriate type of insurance program, LTC insurance company and benefit package to their unique circumstances.

Steve Nussbaum has conducted long-term care work-shops and seminars for nearly 20 years. From 1990 - 1996 he was one of the leading seminar speakers for the highly successful New York State Partnership for Long-Term Care. Since leaving NY State service Steve developed his career as an independent LTC insurance agent.  He has conducted hundreds of FREE, educational long-term care seminars.
